Andrew McNamara Head Baseball Coach, Post

AJ McNamara enters his fourth season as the head coach of the Post University baseball program, after guiding the Eagles to a 2nd Place finish in the ECAC Championships in 2008 and followed that up with leading the program to their best season in school history last year, posting a 25-18 record in 2009 as the team earned its first ever school ranking in two different polls. McNamara came to Post in the summer of 2006 from the College of Mount Saint Vincent in Riverdale, NY where he spent two seasons as the head coach of the Division III start-up program. In his first season, he guided the first year Dolphins to a 15-20 overall record, and an 11-11 mark in the wood-bat Skyline Conference. He was second in the balloting for 2005 Coach of the Year. His second season saw the Dolphins finish 16-19 including near wins against a Division II school as well as a top 5 nationally ranked Division III program. Since his coaching career began in 2005, McNamara’s teams have bettered their win total and record from year to year. Bill Delaney, Assistant Coach, Mercy

Bill Delaney was named assistant baseball coach at Mercy College in the fall of 2008. He assists with the day-to-day operations of the program, recruiting and position instruction.

A Mercy College alumnus, Delaney played baseball and men’s basketball. With the baseball team he was a first baseman and catcher for Mercy College Hall of Fame coach Rick Wolff with some of the most successful teams in program history. He batted .411 in 1978 and was a captain of the 1980 squad that posted wins over Pace, Iona, and Fordham. He was also a forward for coach Joe Flower with the men’s basketball squad led by Tom Sivulich that recorded victories over Stony Brook and Colgate University.

Delaney carries a successful coaching background at the amateur level. As a head coach and assistant, he has led the New Jersey Bandits AAU teams to tournament championships in Omaha, Neb., Cooperstown, N.Y., North Branford, Conn., and Parsippany, N.J. Delaney has also conducted private hitting and pitching instruction at Teel’s in Closter, N.J.

Delaney graduated from Mercy College in 1980 bachelor’s degree in criminal justice. He was named to the Who’s Who Among Students, also in 1980.

Brian Murphy, Assistant Coach, Brown

Head coach Marek Drabinski recently announced the addition of Brian Murphy as an assistant coach for the 2009-2010 baseball season.  Murphy comes to Brown from Bryant University, where he spent four years as the Bulldogs’ hitting coach.

Last season, Murphy helped lead Bryant to a 32-22 overall record, the third consecutive winning season for the Bulldogs. In addition to his responsibilities with the hitters, Murphy also worked with the catchers, and spearheaded the program’s recruiting efforts.

Off the field, Murphy organizes and directs the Bulldog Prospect Camps that are held each summer, fall, and winter.  In the summer of 2007, Murphy served as head coach of the Battle Creek Bombers of the prestigious Northwoods League in the inaugural season, and in the two summers prior, he served as an assistant coach for the Hyannis Mets of the Cape Cod Baseball League. With Hyannis, Murphy was the team’s hitting and third base coach, helping the Mets finished second in the league in team batting average in 2006.

Prior to arriving at Bryant, Murphy was an assistant coach at Wheaton College for two seasons, where he assisted with all aspects of the program, including recruiting, working with hitters and catchers, and assisting with the pitching staff. In each of those two seasons, Wheaton won the NEWMAC regular-season title, and in 2005, the Lyons advanced to the NCAA DIII Northeast Regional Final.

Murphy graduated from Merrimack College in 2003 with a degree in management. Murphy, who was the captain of the Warriors as a junior and senior, was among the Northeast-10 Conference leaders in
batting average and RBI throughout his playing career.

Bryan Adamski, Assistant Coach, Amherst College

Working primarily with Amherst’s hitters, the 2011 season will be Bryan Adamski’s third with the Lord Jeffs. A 2007 graduate of the University of Massachusetts, Adamski was a standout for the Minuteman baseball team. During his senior season Adamski led UMass in home runs (5) and slugging percentage (.453) while boasting a .994 fielding percentage as an exceptional first baseman.

Adamski was also the Minutemen’s top pitcher in 2007, posting a 2.67 ERA with a 3-1 record in 16 relief appearances, and was the team’s lone player to start in all 40 games. Adamski led UMass in both home runs and ERA as a junior. In summers after Adamski wrapped up his season with UMass, he played in the prestigious Cape Cod League for the Chatham A’s and Hyannis Mets. This past summer, he led the West team to the gold medal at the Bay State Games in what was his first year as the team’s head coach.

Craig Noto, Assistant Coach, LIU

Craig Noto enters his sixth season in Brooklyn as assistant coach at Long Island University. In addition to serving as recruiting coordinator, Noto will continue to assist head coach Don Maines with other aspects of the program. He also focuses on practice preparation and the evaluation of scouting reports and will assume the role of pitching coach for the 2010 season. Noto came to Long Island after playing for legendary New York City coach Louie DeMartino at John Jay College. Following his time there, Noto served as head coach at St. Peter’s Boys High School from 1993-96 and then again in 2001. In addition, he guided St. Joseph by the Sea High School from 2002-04. Noto also worked with the Bergen Beach Youth Organization from 1993-2005. Over his 12 seasons as an instructor, he led his teams to nine World Series championships. Most recently, he directed the Bergen Beach CABA 14-year old team to a championship in 2005. Noto graduated from John Jay in 1992. He currently resides in Brooklyn, N.Y.

Greg DiCenzo, Head Coach, Holy Cross

Recently completing his second season as the 18th head coach for the College of the Holy Cross, Greg DiCenzo has continued to bring the baseball program to new heights. In his first season at Holy Cross, DiCenzo was named the 2008 Patriot League Coach of the Year as the Crusaders qualified for the Patriot League Tournament for the first time since 2001 and for the third time in the program’s history. He became only the second coach to ever be named the league’s coach of the year in his first season. Holy Cross had a 21-28 overall record (11-9 in Patriot League play) marking the first 20-win season since 1980. Also for the first time in school history a Holy Cross pitcher was named the Patriot League Pitcher of the Year as Matt Shapiro earned the honor. In DiCenzo’s second season at the helm, Holy Cross again continued its trend of “firsts” in the program. The Crusader ball club was able to qualify for the Patriot League Tournament for the second year in a row and the first time in back-to-back seasons in the history of the program. [Read more...]

Jim Gulden, Assistant Coach, Bucknell

Lewisburg native Jim Gulden enters his fourth season as an assistant coach for Bucknell and is responsible for working with the Bison hitters and catchers while also serving as the team’s game-day bullpen coach. Gulden was drafted out of Lewisburg High School, where he graduated in 2000, by the Montreal Expos in the 47th round. He attended Virginia Tech and was a member of the Hokies’ baseball squad for two years before transferring to Cleveland State, where he graduated in 2005 with a degree in communications. Gulden previously served as head junior varsity baseball coach and varsity assistant coach at Lewisburg High School.

Joe Fucarino, Head Coach, Molloy

Joe Fucarino recently completed his sixth season at the helm of the Molloy College baseball team in 2011 and 16th overall at the collegiate coaching level. This past season, Fucarino guided the Lions to an overall record of 31-20, which tied the program record for victories from 2001 and 2002. He also helped the maroon and white to an East Coast Conference clip of 22-8, good for clinching the East Coast Conference regular-season title.  In his 6 years at the helm of the Molloy College baseball program he has compiled 164 wins, qualified for the East Coast Conference tournament 5 out of 6 years, won an ECAC tournament title in 2009, and had numerous east coast conference selections, player of the year selections, rookie of the year selections, all east region selections, and All-Americans.

Fucarino is a two-time East Coast Conference Coach of the Year in 2009 and 2011.  This past season six of his players achieved All-East Coast Conference status, including three top year-end awards for player of the year, pitcher of the year, and rookie of the year award.

John Campo, Head Coach, Gettysburg College

John Campo begins his 25th season as the Bullet head coach. Campo enters 2010-11 as the school’s all-time wins leader with a career record of 420-418-11 (.501 winning percentage).

Campo’s teams have enjoyed a great amount of success in recent years, posting five 20-win seasons since 1999. The 2007 squad posted a record of 26-13, tying for second all-time for wins in a single season. Sporting a 12-6 record at the end of league play, the Bullets clinched a spot in the Centennial Conference Tournament for the second time in three seasons before bowing out to nationally-ranked Johns Hopkins University in extra innings. The awards flooded in for Campo’s players as six were tabbed all-conference, including the first CC Player or Pitcher of the Year in program history, while one earned all-region accolades and another player picked up Academic All-America honors.

John Delaney, Assistant Coach, Hartford

John Delaney, Assistant Coach, HartfordJohn Delaney came to the University of Hartford head as an assistant coach with the Hawks in 2011. Delaney most recently served as a coach at Sacred Heart University for the past two seasons.

During his tenure at Sacred Heart, Delaney acted as the infield coach and assistant hitting coach. He also assisted with recruiting and scouting in the New England region. With Delaney, the Pioneers captured the 2011 Northeast Conference championship.

Delaney also was active as an instructor in baseball camps and one-on-one instruction throughout Massachusetts and Connecticut.

Prior to his tenure at Sacred Heart, Delaney played three seasons of professional baseball. A 2008 draft choice of the Milwaukee Brewers, Delaney played third base in the organization from 2008 through 2010. During that time, he was rated as a top prospect at the third base position in the organization by Baseball America.

After leaving the Brewers, Delaney spent a season with the Washington Wild Things of the Frontier League. There, he was nominated for a Gold Glove award recognizing his infield defensive excellence.

Delaney graduated from Quinnipiac University in 2008 with a bachelor’s degree in marketing and a minor in entrepreneurship. While with the Bobcats, Delaney was a three-time First Team All-Northeast Conference selection (2006, 07, 08) and an NEC Player of the Year nominee in 2008. He was also named to the NCAA Post Season Texas Regional All-Regional Team as a freshman in 2005.

John Russo Assistant Coach, Hofstra

John Russo is in his second season as an assistant coach on the Hofstra Baseball staff. Russo, who serves as recruiting coordinator and infield coach as well as the third base coach, joined the Pride in 2008 after spending the previous five summers as the manager of the Vermont Mountaineers of the New England Collegiate Baseball League, leading the team to back-to-back NECBL championships in 2006 and 2007. During his tenure with the Mountaineers, Russo posted a 137-99 record and was the 2005 NECBL Manager of the Year. He has coached more than 55 players who were selected in the MLB Draft, including Christian Friedrich (2008 first round pick by the Colorado Rockies) and A.J. Pollock (2009 first round selection by the Arizona Diamondbacks). From 2001 to 2005, Russo served as assistant coach at Saint Joseph’s College in Rensselaer, Indiana. John Susi, Western Connecticut State University

John Susi enters his 11th year at the helm of the Colonials.

In the ten seasons under Susi, Western has compiled a record of 142-230-1. It has made seven trips to the LEC Tournament. In 2002, the Colonials won the LEC Tournament championship and Susi guided WestConn to it’s first-ever NCAA Tournament.

Susi’s coaching career started 27 years ago in his hometown of Waterford, CT. At the age of 18, he guided his first program to an undefeated season and a league championship. After following that season up with a second straight championship, he then joined the New London American Legion baseball program as an assistant in 1985. [Read more...]

Jon Martin, Head Baseball Coach, Vassar

Jon Martin, who spent the previous two seasons as an assistant coach involved in all facets of the Brewers’ baseball program, was named head baseball coach on December 16, 2005. The announcement came from Sharon Beverly, Director of Athletics & Physical Education. A native of Chesapeake, VA., Martin brings a wealth of experience to Vassar’s baseball program. A 2001 graduate of Lynchburg College in Virginia, he was a starting pitcher for the Hornets for four seasons, earning Pitcher of the Year honors in 2000. Martin captained Lynchburg his senior season and graduated with a Bachelor’s of Sciences in Health and Movement Science. During his two seasons at Vassar, Martin has helped produce four All-Liberty League players, three All-New York Region and one Liberty League Player of the Year. “I am extremely excited and eager to serve as Vassar’s Head Baseball coach,” said Martin. “Vassar is a place where students can compete in varsity athletics and continue to get a well-rounded education. As a mentor, I will challenge our players to compete on the field, be dedicated in the classroom and contribute to the Vassar community. Jonmichael Vito has completed five seasons as a Muhlenberg assistant coach. He is a 2002 graduate of College Misericordia, where he was a catcher on the baseball team. Vito set a school record for total chances without an error (184) and was named the Cougars’ MVP as a senior.

Jordan Wyckoff, Assistant Coach, Stony Brook

A 2006 graduate of Dickinson College with a degree in English and a minor in Philosophy, Jordan Wyckoff enters his first season as an assistant coach at Stony Brook. His responsibilities with the program will include working with the outfielders, coaching first base on game days, coordinating the baseball camps, and overseeing the daily operation of the program. A four-year letter-winner for the Dickinson Red Devils, Wyckoff was elected by his teammates to serve as captain in 2005 and 2006 while earning the Moe Leiderman Leadership award. Wyckoff began his coaching career as the Head Coach of the 18-U Long Island Titans in 2006. After graduating from Dickinson, Wyckoff coached at Franklin & Marshall College for two seasons. He helped guide the team to conference playoff appearances both years and a regular season conference title in 2007. In 2008, he coached at Swarthmore College, leading the squad to their most overall wins in a season since 1993. He also worked as the school’s strength & conditioning coach and women’s basketball assistant. Wyckoff also has coaching experience in college summer ball. In 2008, he served as an assistant coach for the Mat-Su Miners in the Alaska Baseball League. In 2009, he coached with the Bourne Braves, capturing the first Cape Cod League title in franchise history. Wyckoff received his Master’s Degree of Education in Sports Management with a concentration in Athletic Coaching from Millersville University (Pa.) in December of 2008.

Kevin Huber, Assistant Coach, Yale

Kevin Huber enters his second season at Yale in 2010-11. He has nearly a decade’s worth of collegiate, high school and club coaching experience. Prior to joining the Yale staff, Huber spent four seasons as the defensive and hitting coach at Fairfield. He also coached at the University of New Haven, where he helped guide the Chargers to a 2004 NYCAC Championship.

Huber, who has also coached scholastically at Greens Farms (Conn.) Academy, is the founder of the Connecticut Blue Jays Baseball Club and has led the squad to several top-10 finishes in AAU national tournaments.

Huber is a 2000 graduate of the University of Bridgeport, where he played for four years with the Purple Knights. The former All-NECC player also played professionally in 2001 with the Zurich Lions in Switzerland as a catcher and infielder. He resides in Bridgeport, Conn., with his wife, Celina, and children, Timothy and Sara.

Mike Gedman, Volunteer Assistant, Bryant

Mike Gedman comes to Bryant after a stellar playing career at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Gedman played first base and pitched for the Minutemen, while being named to the All-Atlantic 10 tournament team in 2010. Gedman finished his playing career hitting .319 with 8 HR and 32 RBI in his final season at Amherst. Gedman also earned a complete game win on the mound over St. Joseph’s.
Gedman played for the Sanford Mainers in the NECBL as well as the Brainerd Lunkers in the Northwoods League in Minnesota for summer baseball. He was also an assistant coach of the New England Ruffnecks AAU baseball team, and an assistant director of the Rich Gedman Baseball Camp.
While at UMass, Gedman also served as an assistant ticket manager for the UMass Amherst Box Office.

Nathan Bashaw, Head Coach, Elms College

Nathan Bashaw is entering his fifth year on the athletics staff at Gettysburg College in 2009-10. Bashaw serves as the Director of Campus Recreation and an assistant coach with the Bullets baseball team. Bashaw is a 2003 graduate of Gettysburg and returned to his alma mater after spending two years as a member of the baseball staff at Dickinson College. In his return, he helped the 2007 squad post the second-most victories in a season with 26 and has guided the team to the Centennial Conference playoffs twice. As the Director of Campus Recreation, Bashaw oversees the day-to-day operations of the College’s intramural and club sports programs, including scheduling events and supervising an intern and a staff of student workers.
Bashaw was a four-year letterwinner and three-year starter in the middle infield on Gettysburg’s baseball team from 2000 to 2003. Serving as a team captain as a senior, he earned All-Centennial Conference accolades at shortstop after hitting .341 and finishing in the top 10 in the conference in hits and runs scored. Bashaw set a school record with 101 assists as a junior and finished his career with a .310 batting average, 81 runs scored, 126 hits, and 62 RBI.

Nick Gallagher, Assistant Coach, Brandeis

Nick Gallagher, a member of the class of 2009, is the latest in a long line of Brandeis alumni to join coach Varney in the dugout. He was a second-team All-UAA selection at first base as a junior, when he hit .444 and led the conference with a .583 on-base percentage in league games. Gallagher served as team captain as a senior, when he was one of the program’s most versatile players.

A career .269 hitter, he started games at DH, second base and as an emergency catcher after the Judges suffered a rash of injuries. Gallagher ranks third on the Judges’ career hit-by-pitch list with 22. As a sophomore, he led the team with 14 games played off the bench. Gallagher was a three-time Academic All-UAA selection who majored in psychology with an economics major. Gallagher is a native of Southboro, Mass., who led his high school team at St. John’s Academy to Central Massachusetts Conference and district titles during his career and was selected to play first base in the Western versus Central Mass. All-Star game.

Nick Giaquinto, Head Coach, Sacred Heart

Nick Giaquinto enters his 21st season at the helm of the Sacred Heart Pioneers and ninth at the Division I level looking to return his team to the Northeast Conference playoffs for a chance at another conference title. After a successful 33 years at Division II, the Pioneers won their first Division I crown in 2006 by winning the NEC Championship and earning their first trip to the NCAA Division I Tournament. Giaquinto helped the Pioneers make the step up to Division I when they joined the Northeast Conference in 2000. After a difficult 12-38 (6-16, NEC) inaugural season, the Pioneers re-grouped and were one of the surprises in the NEC in 2001. The team improved to 22-23 overall (12-10, NEC) and battled for a NEC Tournament slot into the last weekend. The Pioneers qualified for the NEC Tournament in 2005 for the first time in school history, and backed that up with another appearance in 2006. The 26 wins posted in 2006 is a Division I best for the Pioneers. Giaquinto has played a significant role in building a rich tradition at the University. He guided the Pioneers to the NCAA Regional Tournament three times – finishing eighth in the country at the Division II College World Series in Montgomery, Ala., in 1992. [Read more...]

Patrick Anderson, Head Coach, Hofstra

Patrick Anderson is in his third season as head baseball coach at Hofstra University. Anderson was named the 13th coach in the program’s 71-year history on August 11, 2008. In his two seasons, Anderson has posted a 31-60-1 record and has coached four players to All-Colonial Athletic Association honors, as well as one Major League Baseball Draft selection

Anderson led the Pride to a 20-win season in 2010, despite fielding a team with 20 new players, including 15 freshmen. He kept the team in contention for a Colonial Athletic Association Championship berth until the second to last weekend of the season. The team was 10-14 in CAA play and finished eighth after being selected last in the preseason coaches’ poll. The 20 wins marked a nine-victory improvement over the 2009 season and the 10 CAA wins were four more than the previous season.

Three players – Matt Prokopowicz, Ethan Paquette and Matt Ford – earned postseason recognition from the Colonial Athletic Association with Prokopowicz and Paquette garnering first team All-CAA honors, while Ford was named to the All-Rookie team. Paquette would go on to be selected by the Seattle Mariners in the 35th Round of the 2010 MLB Draft.

Pete Wilk, Head Coach Georgetown

The 2010 season marks the 11th season at the helm of the Georgetown baseball team for head coach Pete Wilk.

During his tenure on the Hilltop, Wilk has helped guide the Hoyas to their most successful two-year record since the 1984-85 seasons and was named Coach of the Year by the Hoya. He has implemented a Career Night for current Hoya baseball players to get career advice and network with GU baseball alumni. Wilk has also initiated the preseason First Pitch Dinner which is a fundraiser exclusively for the baseball program. The inaugural First Pitch Dinner in 2005 featured Terry Francona, manager of the World Champion Boston Red Sox, as the guest speaker and television and radio personality Mike Barnicle as the emcee.

Wilk has seen seven Georgetown players move onto the professional ranks, they include; Matthew Bouchard (drafted after junior season), Parker Brooks (C’05), Michael Lombardi (B’04), Eddie Pena (B’05) and Eric Sutton (B’02).

Ryan Darcy, Assistant Coach, Manhattan

Ryan Darcy ’03 is in his fifth season as an assistant on the Manhattan baseball coaching staff. Darcy works primarily with the pitching staff, but assists in all aspects of the program, including recruiting. During his tenure, Manhattan pitchers have received numerous accolades and have developed into some of the top pitchers in the MAAC. Darcy has mentored three MAAC Pitchers of the Year in the last four seasons, and three Louisville Slugger Freshman All-America pitchers. The 2009 Jaspers pitching staff finished the season ranked in the top-3 of the conference in strike outs, ERA, opposing batting average, hits and runs allowed. Manhattan had two pitchers finish third in the league with seven wins, including the 2009 MAAC Pitcher of the Year (Mike Gazzola). Tim Shea Head Baseball Coach, Southern CT

Affiliated with Southern Connecticut State University as a student-athlete, instructor and coach for two decades, Tim Shea’s long-standing relationship with the university has been a tremendously successful one. He took over as head baseball coach prior to the 2002 season after serving 11 years as an Owls assistant to Joe Bandiera. During Shea’s tenure, he has built the Owls into an annual contender for the Northeast-10 Championship and a berth in the NCAA Tournament. In fact, Shea has piloted Southern Connecticut to three NCAA Tournament appearances (2005, 2006, 2008) and one NCAA World Series berth (2005). Shea has amassed a record of 203-137 (.597) as the Owls’ skipper. Southern Connecticut has won at least 30 games in five of his first seven seasons at the helm. Trevor Brown, Assistant Coach, Fairfield University

Trevor Brown begins his first year with the Fairfield University baseball team as the program’s top assistant coach. Brown will focus his efforts on recruiting as well as working with the pitching staff and assisting in the day-to-day operations.

Brown comes to Fairfield after spending two seasons as the pitching coach at Fordham University. While working with the Rams, Brown was able to cut the pitching staff ERA almost in half and helped them to a 30-win season.

Prior to Fordham, Brown spent seven years at Pace University where his staffs ranked among the leaders in the conference and in the nation in ERA, strikeouts and saves. In 2009, Pace’s pitching staff ranked third in the conference in strikeouts (297) and saves (11) while Brown coached his hurlers in 2008 to the top ranking in Division II in ERA (2.62) and hits per inning. In 2007, Brown’s pitching staff ranked second in the conference in strikeouts, saves and runners picked off and third in opposing team’s batting average and fourth in ERA.

Brown also served as pitching coach at Georgetown University for two seasons and began his coaching career at his alma mater Eastern Connecticut State University from 1999-2000. He was also a manager for four summer league teams, including the Manchester Silkworms and the Eastern Tides of the New England Collegiate Baseball League (NECBL).

Brown brings professional playing experience, having played two seasons in the Western Australian Baseball League with one-year stints with the Albany-Colonie Diamond Dogs of the Eastern League and the Johnstown Steel of the Frontier League.

Tucker Frawley, Assistant Coach, Yale

2010 will be the third season for Tucker Frawley as an assistant coach on John Stuper’s staff. His main duties at Yale include coaching the hitting corps, preparing the team defense and guiding the program’s recruiting efforts. A graduate of the College of the Holy Cross, Frawley graduated as the school’s all-time leader in career hits in 2006. He was a three-time All-Patriot League selection at second base for the Crusaders, including a junior season in which he hit .409, ranking him 17th nationally. He is a three-time Hop Riopel Award recipient, an award given to the Crusaders’ most valuable player, making him one of two players to earn the distinction on three occasions. Frawley was named All-New England in both 2005 and 2006 and was named to the ABCA/Rawlings All-Northeast Region team in 2006. A New Haven native, Frawley signed professional contracts with the Worcester Tornadoes (CanAm League) in 2006 and the Evansville Otters (Frontier League) in 2007 before returning to the Elm City to begin his coaching career. His younger brother Casey was recently selected by the Cleveland Indians in the 17th round of the 2009 MLB Draft.

Wayne Mazzoni, Pitching Coach, Sacred Heart

Wayne Mazzoni is in his fourth year as pitching coach for the Pioneers. Mazzoni comes to the Pioneers after working as pitching coach at the College of Holy Cross. A 1991 graduate of Gettysburg College, Mazzoni spent the six seasons prior to Holy Cross as the head baseball coach and assistant athletic director at Post University in Waterbury. Prior to that Mazzoni was the pitching coach at Fairfield University and also served as an assistant at Nova Southeastern University in Florida. Mazzoni, who earned a master’s degree in Sports Marketing from St. Thomas University, is also an established author and speaker. He has published articles in the ABCA Coaching Digest, NCAA News, Scholastic Coach, Baseball Digest, and Junior Baseball. He is the author of The Athletic Recruiting and Scholarship Guide, which helps high school athletes and parents with the recruiting process and is a frequent speaker at high schools regarding that topic. In addition, he was a recruiting speaker at the 2005 World Baseball Coaches Convention. He has appeared on ABC, Fox, and most sports radio stations around the country. He has a pitching video titled The Left-Handed Pick Off Move, which he presented at the national ABCA Convention in 2004. A native of Northport, Long Island, Mazzoni and his wife Keli, have three children, Colby(7), Brayden (5), and a black Lab puppy named Moxie.
